Yumnah Jones is the founder of the Journeys Of Her Project, which she established in 2020. She hails from Cape Town, South Africa and holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of the Western Cape.
In addition to creating the project, she formally registered The Journeys Of Her Foundation as an NPC in 2024 with the aim of contributing towards the educational needs of children throughout the African continent.
With her networks across various regions in Africa, she aims to use her writing project as a driving force to contribute to the education and empowerment of children across Africa. Being from humble beginnings herself, growing up on the Cape Flats, during the apartheid era, and living with debilitating disabilities, she understands the importance of education and empowerment.
